Job hunting in Japan – Part one

At the beginning of the year I started job hunting activities. There are many things one has to be careful about when looking for a job inside Japan especially when you want to find a job outside the usual language teacher jobs. As the first step I consulted the career center in the university I am studying in. We discussed about how to fill out the 履歴書, the Japanese résumé which companies usually request when you want to apply to a job. The résumé that Japanese companies request are usually sold on campus. In some cases, companies may provide an own form with their questions you need to fill out. This form is called Entry Sheet or ES in short.
