Purikura Review: Mixme

Mixme is the name of the Purikura machine that brings a new twist into the scene: a second camera from above! 

It works similar to trick art museums but with less awkwardness to ask surrounding people to photograph you. The machine offers a great variety of backgrounds and many more features.  For better visibility I made a pro/con list based on my own tastes. 

Pros:

- new experience of purikura

- no need to ask surrounding people for help

- stamps of your silhouette are created, which you can use creatively in any of your taken shots

- position of your body can be adjusted during editing phases (only with the 2 camera shots)

- huge variety of background designs to choose from

- two full body shots

- seasonal backgrounds are available:

Start of a new school year, summer, Halloween, Christmas 

Cons

- you can only choose 2 of the said designs

(the others will be a plain color background)

- the machine doesn't get rid of dark circles underneath your eyes (other machines do this)

- the time between shots is quite short so you have to switch fast
