The description

Teshioya rice crackers, which are a unique salty and savoury taste, that comes from the mix of Makurazaki dried bonito and kombu dashi from which they are made.

The good

My daughter randomly picked these sembei (rice crackers) up while we were in the OK store yesterday. She said she was attracted by the packaging and the crisp look of the senbei which you could see through the translucent outer package. There are 9 in a pack and they were that good that they were devoured in less than a minute. I liked the crunchiness and the unique salty taste, but I am not as familiar with rice crackers as my children. My two teenagers rate them in the top ten of all the rice crackers they've ever tried! My younger two children, could take them or leave them.

The not so good

There's not a lot bad to say about these rice crackers. They seem to be readily available and huge bonus to the company, Kameda Seika, they have a full English language website where you can pick up information about all their products. Perhaps, one negative might be that they are addictive! But they don't seem to contain any E numbers or any poor ingredients. Actually the list of ingredients is on the healthier side for a snack of this sort. I suppose if I had to say something bad about them, it would be that there's not enough in one package!
