A canned fizzy drink with the addition of jelly. This is grape-flavoured and refrigerated by the vending machine you get it from. Shaking is not required before drinking.
The good
This drink is an interesting surprise for your taste buds. It is essentially a grape soda but with the added jelly in it, it somehow makes it more refreshing. I think this is because the jelly keeps your senses guessing on what to pick up next. The smoothness of the jelly provides that contrast from the fizz. Refrigerated, this same fizz will make you feel cooled down. The can itself is thicker than many other cans, so it retains its temperature quite well. At 130 yen, this drink is well worth it.
The not so good
As much as I personally enjoy the drink after the fact, the initial impression will probably take a lot of people aback. It certainly took me a bit to appreciate the product for what it is, so I think the textures that come in the can will be an acquired preference. There is also no real fruit in this product either, so it definitely isn’t the healthiest thing to consume. That said, if it is something that you enjoy, I think the portion in one can is a bit small. I remember being a bit surprised at how fast I drank the thing. The can may be thick, but I think that limits how much goes into the can.
