Life experience in Japan

    My life in Japan, to be honest, was not always pleasing. During my first year in Yokohama National University, nothing seemed easy to me: personal relationship, adapting to the environment, different culture, different language, etc. Among all these hardships I have been through, learning Japanese was the most troublesome aspect of my life in Japan.

    I had spent most of my life surrounded by mostly German and Korean but never by this many Japanese. Even if I have spent my life learning various languages (Korean, German, English), that does not mean I am very skilled in learning new language. Also, I believe learning those languages were not as hard as learning Japanese because I have learned them while growing up (from infancy to childhood when my brain was most flexible to learning languages). Still, I did eventually come to love learning it. The total new system of language enthralled me to study harder and harder. I cannot say that my Japanese skills are not so fancy, I am indeed eager to master the language.

     Now, besides the pain I had during my life in Japan, let me talk about something that I love about the Japan from the beginning: Shopping, foods and cultures.

    Japan is well known for beauty such as hair, makeup etc. Many Koreans loves Japanese cosmetics as well as foods. Furthermore, I love the Japanese cultures still having the modern Japanese style as well as western style. These days, Korea and Germany has lost their own charm and their modern style of the buildings and cultures because they are influenced by other countries. However, Japan still has their own charm which is so beautiful. Not only the buildings, cultures shows the Japanese people having good public behavior. For example, the streets being so cleaned and caring others.
