Yakitori Restaurant's "Stew"
At an yakitori restaurant, I saw that one of the things they had on the menu was "nikomi", or simply "stew".
I had no idea they had in it, but I knew it was a popular dish and it would really warm me up too, so I ordered one.
For 400 yen, it was a decent sized bowl with a lot of super tender chicken in it. That was when I went "this is a yakitori shop, so OF COURSE it is chicken".
But they really put a generous amount of chicken in it, and I was very satisfied with just the stew alone before eating anything else.
I really loved the texture of the meat too. "Nikomi" is going to be something I will always order from now on.
