The TopValu Happoshu Ruse

Since I have realized how much sugar the TopValu low malt beers contain, I have been checking sugar and calorie content more often, and I found something very surprising.

When I was comparing the three TopValu low malt beers, the sugar contents are as follows:

Clear: 14 grams

Rich: 8 grams

50% less sugar: 7 grams

Hold on, the 50% less sugar one was 50% less from the clear!? The rich and less-sugar have about the same amount of sugar!?

Keep in mind that most beers have 3-4 grams of sugar, this less-sugar can is still full of sugar!

Rather than getting tricked by their name, it is more important to really check and compare.
