Premium Yebisu

If you have read my previous posts, you might remember that I usually prefer low-malt beer over standard beer because they are much cheaper.

So it intrigues me that I often find the Premium Yebisu to be 10-20 yen more expensive than other brands of beer in Japan.

I decided to give it a try, though not sure why I hopped in for the tall boy.

It does indeed taste different. Rich, profound, and deep...

In fact, a bit too deep for me as I would have preferred more of a crisp aftertaste. For someone like me, this did feel like a "premium" beer, but perhaps a bit too high-class for me.
