The Price of Dented Canned Soup

Considering how much Japan values the packaging of products as much as the product itself, I have come across discounted products due to packaging several times.

Sometimes, the box it flattened a bit or that the packaging itself got partially ripped off, or in this case, these Campball soup got their cans slightly dented, so they were put on sale.

The dent was so small that I had to turn it around twice to find them, but thanks to that, these 180 yen per can soup became 130 yen.

It is not like the dent will make the soup any less delicious. I hope more supermarkets will do this to benefit people like me who do not care about the packaging.
