The Saddest Bento Sidedishes

When I bought this Mega Karaage Bento, my focus was of course on the delicious-looking karaage.

But I did not expect that the maker also only focused on the karaage and let the sidedishes to be absolutely depressing.

First, there were the few pickled daikon that did not know how to stay in place.

Next, the bed of shredded cabbage that was like giving a tiny blanket for a giant to sleep on.

Finally, there was the mayo-based pasta salad that turned into something completely different after microwaving the bento.

They were so sad that I would not have been disappointed if they had left them out of this mega karaage bento. The karrage were great though.
