Cheap Drunk: Star Select's 9% Strong Lemon

When you see this can for 84 yen (before tax) and a can of the famous Strong Zero for 102, which one would you pick up?

I had to give it a try and see if saving the 18 yen was worth it, especially since this brand's low-malt beer was a complete dud.

Being 9% alcoholic, this was surprisingly easy to drink. The sweetness was there as well as the lemon flavour with its 2% juice.

But I also suddenly realized that this can was really flat eventhough it should have been carbonated.

However, that was my only compliant, so while not perfect, this can be a good choice for those trying to save a few extra yen.
