Coca Cola's Energy Drink

I try not to drink too much of energy drinks, but sometimes I just need the morning kick.

As a fan of soft drinks, I had high expectations for the Coca Cola Energy. Advertised with a "coca cola taste", I was a bit disappointed to report that the flavour was more like coke flavour candies or coke flavour anything instead of actual coca cola.

For 200 yen, it was also a small can, which either makes it easier to finish or leaves you wanting more. I would usually be the latter except that I had it while I was on the Shinkansen early in the morning, so less fizz in my tummy was better biz.

Overall, this will not be my go-to, but more competition is always better!
