Chen Kenichi's Failed Shrimp Gyoza
Chen Kenichi, the famous iron chef lend his name to this frozen shrimp gyoza, and it was disappointing in a big way.
They shape nothing like what the round shrimp gyoza are supposed to be! Instead, they are shaped like normal gyoza!
While the flavour of the shrimp and bamboo shoot was nice and the texture was really good too, the gyoza skin was way too thick and chewy.
They actually tired me out from chewing, and that is not what shrimp gyoza should be like.
The iron chef did not win this round.
