Buying Chicken Neck Skin!?

On my usual supermarket trip, I spotted a pack with the half-priced sticker on it. Picking it up revealed that it was a back of chicken neck skin...

Chicken neck skin...???

I know how delicious chicken skin gets when fried until they are crispy, but I did not expect to see them sold as packs like that. I had to give it a try, right?

I brought it home, and with a bit of salt and pepper, I fried the heck out them.

And they were the most delicious thing I have had the whole month! As strange as they might look, I will be more than happy to buy them again.
