My Thoughts on Digimon Adventure (2020) Ep. 1-3
I grew up with Digimon and always saw it as superior to Pokemon. The monsters were cool and the story was actually deep with character growth.
So I was excited for the 2020 Digimon Adventure reboot, based on the same characters.
The first three episodes... I have very mixed feelings about.
It was an homage of Digimon Our War the movie and it is obvious. The plot was not really explained though, and instead, they get to put the focus on the beautiful fight scenes.
Visually I was very satisfied, but plot-wise was minimal in the first three episodes. It was basically "this is the threat, and they are resolving it".

What made me unhappy was that Omnimon appeared in ep.2 already. That was the strongest Digimon, so where will they go from here?

on no. I loved Digimon as a kid. I didn't have cable so didn't get to know any Pokemon until I was in my 30s. The first two seasons on Digimon were so good. I don't know if I'll want to watch the reboot.

@edthethe Yea I also grew up with Digimon. Really liked Tamers (3rd) too and its kickass music. I was told that this is worth continuing, so I am going to watch more and share my thoughts again in the future. But ep.1-3 was definitely underwhelming in my opinion :(
