Great Game: Cockroach Poker

I enjoy complex board games that take you time to understand, but they are not always the best choices for parties since people want to play without having to sit through a lecture for the rules. Recently a friend brought this game called Gokiburi Poker, and I really liked it, so I wanted to share with you guys too.

The idea is simple: you have some cards in your hand and you give one card to another player of your choice. You claim that the card is one of the 8 types of creatures, and the recepiant has to decided weather you are lying or not. If they get it wrong, they keep the card, and when they have too many cards of the same type or one of each 8 types, they lose.

This was so simple and fun that I decided to get one for myself too. All the suspecting and doubting was intense and exciting, and its pick-up-and-play nature was perfect for parties.
