Meh: Lasagna Cup Noodles
Lasagna is one of those foods that is hard to find in Japan, and even when you find it, they are almost never made right and that fact saddens me.
As my exploration in Japan continues, I found the lasagna cup noodles, which I knew I had to try. The BIG size could have been a mistake though.
Opening the cup, I saw the dried meat and even dried cheese in the cup. Adding hot water into it brought some nice herbs and tomato flavours to my nose. It did not feel too bad.
Then I tasted it, and.... it was okay, I guess?
The flavour was decent, but it feels strange that I was having cup noodles soup with tomato and herb at the same time. It also did not feel like lasagna in any way, which I should expect by now.
So in short, it was a quick meal that I would not feel sad when I eventually forget about.

"Lasagna is one of those foods that is hard to find in Japan" - couldn't agree more. It's to the detriment of this country that you can't find a decent lasagna. Watching this space to see if you make a pleasant discovery!
