Cheap Drinker: Lifeguard Vodka

Some people enjoy mixing alcoholic shots with energy drinks. While it is not really a trend in Japan, Lifeguard, a brand of energy drink flavour soda has a vodka infused cocktail.

I gave this 100 yen can a try, thinking that I like both energy drinks AND vodka, so on a Sunday night when I wanted some fuel for my video gaming session, I cracked it open.

The taste was very much like what you would expect: the ultra sweetness of an energy drink, but also comes with a bitter punch from vodka to make you frown. If I was drinking for just the flavour, then the normal 50 yen Lifeguard is much better, but the 7% did give me a good buzz to wrap my weekend up, so I would recommend this who like the idea of energy drink with a spike.
