Omotenashi: Opening Food Packages

When I was eating a Tokyo Banana I received a while ago, I was very impressed by the packaging.

As the plastic indicated, I could open it from anywhere, and that was true!

The package was designed with so many tear-able openings that you do not need to look for where the gap is.

In fact, I went ahead to test just how easy it was to rip the bag open, and I ended up with something like an elementary student's art project.

Omotenashi refers to exactly this, does it not?
