Yoshinoya's Kimchi

Yoshinoya is of course the gyudon chain that is not only everywhere in Japan, but also has branches internationally. Besides their beef bowls, however, I also appreciate them for their kimchi, which you can buy at the supermarket.

Unlike some cheaper kimchi options, the yoshinoya one comes with quite a strong flavour of seafood that goes well with white rice. It is also slightly spicy but not overpowering, making it quite easy to be enjoyed by anyone. I want to use it for cooking too, but I always end up eating it directly to fully enjoy its flavour. Overall, it is the pack of kimchi that has a very good balance.
