Omikoshi Coming Round Again

For those who live in Miyagi or are really interested in the portable shrines that get brought down from Shiogama Shrine a few times a year, tomorrow would be a great time to visit Shiogama.

The poster also lists times when the portable shrines will be in certain areas of the town, including a return planned for around 7 PM. 

It is something special to see especially if you don't live in a town where this happens more than once a year. If you miss this and want to see the portable shrines make their rounds, another option is the port festival on Marine Day later in summer.
