The description

This is by far my favorite product from Samyang. This Samyang's Buldak series is famous for its fiery spice, and the Cream Carbo flavor, a twist on their original Carbonara, adds a lighter dimension to the usual spiciness of their Buldak series.

The good

This is known for its extreme heat though some say the Cream Carbo balances it with a creamy, slightly cheesy flavor, reducing the intense heat compared to the original, I still think the extreme heat prevails. What I like is the rich sauce, and creamy texture thanks to the addition of dairy. I also love the smooth, cheesy element that blends well with the noodles, creating a savory and indulgent flavor. While the spice level is toned down in comparison to the original Buldak, it’s still spicy. The cream does offer some relief, but the heat gradually builds as you eat. So you better prepare some cold drinks with you.

The not so good

I strongly suggest if you can't handle the extreme heat, don't pour all of the red sauce to the noodles. The preparation is very simple, just boil the noodles, drain most of the water, and mix in the cream powder and the spicy sauce. The powder creates a creamy coating, while the sauce delivers the spicy kick. If you enjoy spicy food but want something a little more balanced, this is a good choice. The creaminess gives a rich, more indulgent experience than the classic Buldak. A nice middle ground between the intense spice of the original and the mildness of the cheese flavor.
