A Journey to the Land of the Rising Sun

    Japan is indeed one in the bucket list for many in terms of their dream country to visit one day. This country is definitely one worth visiting no matter what time of the year. Be it winter, spring, summer or fall, there is so much to see and experience.

    This is actually not my first time to visit Japan, however, the last time I was here was probably not the best time to visit Japan. Year 2020 was the onset of the Global Pandemic (Covid), I would say, it was one of the most challenging times in human history. An event that struck us all and paralyzed the entire world.

Me together with my family first came to this country a week before the lockdown. It was a fun week for us!

    We stroll in the streets of Tokyo and visited a few well-known tourist attractions of the City which was still open that time. Luckily some of the parks in the city were still open for visitors, but for most attractions, they decided to halt operations early in preparation for the worldwide lockdown.

    In short, our trip to Japan was cut short and we had to flew back home before the lockdown.

    Fast forward to year 2024, I am back in Japan! This time as a foreign worker. This is absolutely a new experience for me since I will be living in this promising country for at least a year.

    All I can say is I’m thrilled and excited with what Japan has in store for me this year. Pretty much I will be visiting places I missed out the first time I was here.

There’s just so much to explore and experience, and I can’t wait to start my little adventure in this country dubbed as the “Land of the Rising Sun”.
