The Famous Your Name (Kimi no Na wa) Stairs

Even before I came to Japan, I was already a huge anime fan. Looking back, I think anime was one of the biggest reasons I dreamed of coming here in the first place.

Through anime, I learned so much about Japan, its culture, scenery, traditions, and the places that made me fall in love with the country long before I ever set foot here.

One of the places that had always been on my bucket list was the famous staircase featured in the anime movie Your Name (Kimi no Na wa).

Finally standing there felt surreal. To most people, it's probably just an ordinary set of stairs. But for anime fans like me, it represents something much more meaningful. It may sound a little corny, but visiting this place really felt like stepping into the world of the anime itself.

Your Name has always been one of those movies that stayed with me long after I finished watching it. The story, the music, and the emotions it made me feel are unforgettable. Seeing the actual staircase brought back all those memories and filled me with a sense of nostalgia that was difficult to put into words. It was one of those moments where reality and fiction seemed to blend together.
I'm incredibly grateful that I had the chance to visit the place where Taki and Mitsuha  finally met.

It was a simple moment, yet one I'll always remember. Sometimes, a place doesn't have to be extraordinary to be special—it just needs to hold a story that means something to you.
