I don't know if it's the heat, but I was craving sour when I saw this share pack of Suppai Daisakusen in the Drugstore and decided to give them a try. I knew my younger children would help me eat them! The packaging is loud and silly, but you wouldn't know what it was for without picking it up to examine. On picking it up I could see the stick figures that indicated to me that it was a share pack of sour gummies. I like that there are nine packets in total. It is three packets of three different flavors.

While I liked that there were nine packets and three different flavors, I actually would have preferred if each packet had each of the three different flavors! A mixed assortment. Having them separate has its advantages, but I would have liked to have tasted all flavors without having to eat three different packets of the sour gummies! The flavors themselves are good (I particularly liked the cola flavor), but the experience loses momentum when you have to stop and open another mini‑bag every time you want a different taste. It also means you can’t enjoy the natural contrast between flavors in a single handful, which is part of the charm of most sour‑candy mixes.
