The description
The Pon De Angel is a semi-secret Mister Donut on their "ura menu" that combines two of Misdo's most popular donuts: the pon de ring and the Angel French.
The good
The absolute best thing about the "Pon De Angel" is the taste. The second-best thing is that it is actually a rare donut, but luckily for me my local branch seems to carry it relatively often. It's really popular in my household, so when I see it, I buy it. Moreover, I actually don't normally like pon de ring, but I really like this version of the pon de ring. Because it uses the formula of another donut I do like, the Angel French, in the pon de ring format. So it is cut in half, with a cream filling, and then on part of the top there is a covering of chocolate.
The not so good
As above, the Pon De Angel is a rare, semi-secret Mister Donut offering that is on their "ura menu". So you won't find information about it on their website - lord knows I tried for the purpose of this review. And it was only when I couldn't find it and searched the web that I learned how rare the Pon De Angel is. Because it is a rare donut and its not on the fixed menu, there is no way of knowing in advance if the store you are going to visit carries it or not. So it is just luck of the draw! There's a good in that too. I will now be more excited the next time I see it on sale in my local branch!
