This is not something I would normally buy, but the choice of bakery items was very limited when I arrived to Gyomu supermarket after lunch on a Friday. Of the few things that were left, I compared their calories, something I have never done in my life before, to pick something that I could have on the go! This product is a ready made, packaged, single slice of French Toast. I hadn't read the description on the packagaging which had highlighted that there is some milk cream inside, so when I bit into the cream I was pleasantly surprised. Its only a small bit and it worked suprisingly well.

I think this is the first time I'd ever seen this Milk French Toast by ITO. So I think it might not be widely available. Or maybe just in my neck of the woods. I bought it in the Gyomu supermarket, which I don't go to very often because I need to drive to it rather than walk or cycle. The price was very good at just 128 yen, but there isn't very much in it. It certainly wouldn't fill you. I bought it to eat in the car until I could get home for my actual lunch! Thing is, it was filling enough that I didn't want a lunch by the time I got home, but then I was hungry by 4 pm! Overall though, I liked it and I would buy it again.
