Three of my children are fans of Snoopy. Moreover, Snoopy is a kind of emblem for my family and three other families who we are very close to, so we buy a lot more Snoopy goods than most! The outer package of the calendar is a good size - not too big and not too thick. It sits under the Christmas tree nicely each night! There is a section on the back of the calendar that can be cut out - well its perforated so you can easily do it with your hand, no scissors needed - and used as a Christmas tree decoration when you've finished eating the contents of the package!

Much to my horror, after buying the product online for 1100 yen, I saw it in several other shops for much cheaper. On average it seemed to sell for about 850 yen. The chocolates are really really small, not even bite size. More like swallow whole size! Its not really a negative thing, but it is quite interesting that they call the product a countdown calendar, rather than an advent calendar. I suppose countdown is more universal and more marketable in non Christian countries, such as Japan. Although the word 'advent' is known here due to the popularity of these type of calendars.
