Bargain Rice Deals Are Out There - If You Know Where to Look

Bargain Rice Deals Are Out There - If You Know Where to Look photo

Yesterday, I introduced an incredible money saving event, All-You-Can-Pack Frozen Food", at a small outlet in Saitama Prefecture. It is called 39 Outlet and from what I can tell, they only have two shops in Saitama - one in Iruma and one in Fujimino. A TV segment introduced the All-You-Can-Pack event, but it also introduced their cheap rice.

First and foremost, this is 'blend/ed rice'. Blend/ed rice is rice made from mixing two or more varieties of rice. Often different grades or harvests, so some people do find it a less tasty option. Others claim they don't notice a difference. Regardless, blending helps to lower prices while still offering dependable everyday rice.

According to the TV segment, blended rice costs around 3220 yen for a five-kilo bag. I would agree with this estimation. At the 39 Outlet they sell it for 2200 yen. However, they currently have a special price offering it at 1999 yen. Moreover, if you buy two you get a further 20% off. That works out at 1599 yen, about half the usual price of a 5-kilo bag of blended rice.

It’s the kind of promotion that genuinely helps families, students, and home cooks stretch their budget without sacrificing quality. Prices may shift and stock doesn’t always last, but every so often you come across these super‑bargain rice deals that feel like a small victory. In a time when costs seem to rise almost daily, finding rice at such a great price can make a big difference to some.

Have you found any rice bargains like this one?
