Who doesn't love Meiji Apollo chocolate!? It is so good. I love the small size of each chocolate, so if you literally just want one bite of chocolate and don't want to overindulge, you can do that with this product. You can get this chocolate in various sizes. The one in this post is the "jumbo", which comes in a long cylindrical package. The package is quite hard, so it makes for good omiyage when you are going overseas as it holds up well in a suitcase. The chocolate is really good. The strawberry taste isn't overbearing which can be the case sometimes. The fun element of different shapes adds excitement for children, especially when they actually have a different shape, such as a star, in their pack. Meiji Apollo are widely available nationwide.

As above, you can get Apollo chocolate anywhere in Japan. However, having bought it both online and in a store, I recommend buying it in store when possible. The reason is because it is usually more expensive online. I deducted a star from this review not because of the product, but because of the price. It was a 100 yen more expensive on Amazon than in the stores. However, the price does vary greatly from store to store and there are times when it is cheaper due to special offer. There are probably times when Amazon sell it at a discounted price too.
