The Crunchy Pikachu Tail Donut is one of the limited edition Christmas donuts, in conjunction with Pokemon, at Mister Donuts (hereafter Misdo) in 2025. This is the eight year in a row that there have been Pokemon theme donuts at Misdo for the Christmas season. I am always happy to see them come back. And I am always impressed by how they manage to come up with new original, unique and adorable Pokemon themed donuts each year. I particularly liked the topping on this donut. White chocolate sprinkled with golden crispies. The inside of the donut was surprisingly fluffy and light. I was glad I tried it, but its not one I will buy again this year.

As much as the golden toppings were good, the taste was a bit nondescript. I would love to know what they are made of, but I couldn't decipher by taste. Overall I find Misdo to be reasonably priced, but I thought that the price of this Pikachu tail donut was a bit too expensive, even if it is a limited edition donut. For me personally, once was enough to pay that price for this particular donut. The biggest negative of this donut and all of Misdo's seasonal donuts is that they don't make enough of them! They sell out several times a day. Sometimes you can't get them at all except for the first half hour the store is open and its not always possible to get to Misdo early!
