A day for tablets used in schools

Today, and November 20th annually, is  "Tablet Communication Education Day". Just System Co. Ltd. who are known for the Japanese word processing software "Ichitaro" and the input system "ATOK", created the anniversary. 

The company's style of distance learning using only a dedicated tablet was developed with the aim of being "fun, easy to understand, and sustainable for a long time." The purpose of this anniversary is to increase the number of children who feel that studying is fun.

The date was chosen after November 20, 2012, when Japan's first tablet-based learning system, "Smile Zemi," for elementary school students, which aimed to improve learning through a dedicated tablet device, was launched.
