The description
This product is a pack of six bread rolls with a sausage and a little bit of mayonnaise by Yamazaki bakery, made with domestically produced rice flour.
The good
I quite like these mini sausage rolls, called bite sized wrapped sausage, by Yamazaki bakery. They used to have seven in the pack, but at some point in the last year I think, they reduced the number to six! Shrinkflation! The price is good at just 178 yen after tax, but, again, that has gone up sometime in the last year. Moreover, I bought them at a special discount price, so they are usually more expensive - at this store (Apita) anyway. The sausage in the roll isn't the best I've ever tasted, but its good enough. There is a small bit of mayonnaise too, so it adds to the flavor. What I like most is that this product is convenient for a quick bite to eat while on the go.
The not so good
I preferred when there were seven in the pack. I am disappointed that they have reduced the number of rolls in the pack to six. The rolls are not individually wrapped so once you open the packet you need to eat the contents soon to get the best taste from them. But there is also enough plastic on the bag to tie it closed. To be honest, more than a "bakery" item, it's a snack. You definitely wouldn't get full from eating just one or two, or even the whole six, but they can take the edge off hunger until you can get something a bit more gratifying.
