Anime Pilgrimage Spot: GMO Arena from Girls und Panzer

Fans of "Girls und Panzer" may recognize GMO Arena Saitama, formerly known as Saitama Super Arena, from Episode 4 of the series. The iconic venue appears during the national "tankery" tournament draw, where representatives from schools across Japan gather to learn their opponents.

At around 21 minutes and 34 seconds into the episode, the exterior of the arena can be seen, modelled on the real-life building in Saitama City. Located next to Saitama-Shintoshin Station, the arena is one of the largest event venues in Japan and hosts concerts, sporting events, exhibitions, and other major gatherings throughout the year.
