Meiji's grape flavored "kaju (fruit juice) gummies" are a safe bet when picking up a quick treat for the kids. They like the taste of these gummies, as do I. I also like that they have collagen in them, as I have recently realized the health benefits of collagen! There are 2700 milligrams of collagen contained in this product according to the package. I have no idea what the recommended daily allowance is, but 2700 milligrams certainly sounds like it is more than enough collagen for at least one day! I like that this product is widely available in Japan; in supermarkets, drug stores and occasionally in vending machines.

There is a big price difference between stores, as well as between walk in stores and online stores. If there is a standard price, I can't find it, and I notice that the price seems to be different every time I buy it. The 135 yen I paid on Amazon is on the expensive side I think. I see Rakuten are currently selling this packet for 99 yen and I remember the last time I bought them in Welcia they were about 110 yen. They are potentially a choking hazard, so do be careful if you are giving them to small children.
