The description
The name of the product in Japanese also describes what it is aiming to be: a fluffy pull-apart white bread with chocolate cream and chocolate chip filling.
The good
Honestly, up front, I did not like this product at all, but gave it two stars because some people might like it and the chocolate chip bits were nice enough. But overall, it was like eating cardboard with chalk in it. 7-Eleven describe it is a fluffy, mochi soft pull apart bread with chocolate cream and dotted with chocolate chips. I suppose it is an accurate enough description. The bread is easy to pull apart with your fingers, there is a chewiness to the bread, and there is chocolate cream and some chocolate chips in the product.
The not so good
In all fairness, this product is not expensive. But because it tastes so bad, I felt like I had wasted my money. Even if this product was priced at 15 yen, I would never buy it again. To add insult to injury, it is not even filling. Honestly, the only way I can describe it is, as I did above, that it was like eating cardboard with chalk in it and the odd, pleasant bite of a chunk of chocolate. It tastes really artificial and the sweetness is not nearly enough to mask the artificial taste and texture.
