The description
Affordable pair of tender grilled lamb skewers by Saizeriya, seasoning (on the side) just simple to highlight their natural flavor. Juicy, aromatic, and lightly smoky.
The good
Lamb is not a common meat in Japan. I rarely see it in the supermarket, and when I do it is very expensive. Normally, when I see it at a restaurant it is also very expensive. So, I am grateful that Saizeriya has an affordable lamb option (relative to how rare it is to get lamb). It is just two skewers of lamb (but they do have a larger size available too) with a side of subtle seasoning. I like that the seasoning is on the side. I actually don't use it; I prefer to relish in the natural deliciousness of the lamb. But it is good that those who like a seasoning have the option to add it.
The not so good
While I find them reasonably priced, maybe some people might think it is expensive to pay 364 yen for just two skewers of lamb. Even with the larger size, which is four skewers for 728 yen, it works out at 182 yen per skewer. But the biggest negative for me personally is that these lamb skewers are only available at Saizeriya! I wish it was easier to get lamb skewers. I would also like to see more lamb options on Saizeriya's menu. Overall, I am a fan, and whenever I am craving lamb, I head to Saizeriya!
