What I like about this hot chocolate at "niko and ... COFFEE" is that it is not too sweet. Rather than a heavy dessert type hot chocolate, like a lot of the cafes offer nowadays, its a bit more of a classic hot chocolate with more of a gentle sweetness. In addition the cocoa flavor is smooth and mellow with a soft milkiness that makes it easy to drink to the end. With dessert type cocoa you often sip them rather than drink them, but the "niko and ...COFFEE" is more drinkable. Sorry the photo isn't great - it's the drink with the dark lid.

This hot chocolate is only available at "Niko and... Coffee" stores, which aren't that abundant currently. The price isn't cheap, working out more expensive than some of their sandwiches, but it is a lot cheaper than the alternatives in Lalaport Fujimi (unless you buy from a vending machine). Overall, it’s comforting without being overly rich, the kind of drink that pairs well with their niko pan or a quiet break in the afternoon. Not a deep, dark chocolate, but a warm, reliable cup that feels like a small treat. I would buy it again.
