The Lotte Ghana Pink Chocolate is a seasonal limited‑edition version of the Ghana series chocolate bar. Limited edition produce is always a little bit more enticing than products you can get the whole year round. The bar is made from strawberry powder blended into Ghana's white chocolate bar, so it has a different taste than regular or dark chocolate. The pink color and strawberry flavoring are very seasonal, not just for Valentine's but for the strawberry season too. I bought it for melting down to make homemade goodies for Valentines, and it was ideal for that.

My daughter used two of the three bars I bought for baking, and as I mentioned above, it was very good for that. However, if you eat it on its own, as a chocolate bar, it can become quite sickly after a few bites as we found out from eating the third bar I had purchased and didn't use in the baking project. The flavor leans toward the sweet side, so people who prefer darker or less sugary chocolate may find it a bit rich after a few pieces, as we did. Because it’s a seasonal limited edition, it can be hard to find outside the Valentine’s period, and prices sometimes vary more than the regular Ghana bars. Overall, chocolate is quite expensive at the moment, and given that this chocolate bar wasn't overly delicious, I found it quite expensive.
