This Blendy Stick Café au Lait Calorie Half is a lovely balance of convenience and comfort. Even with half the calories, it keeps the creamy sweetness that makes Blendy so popular. The powder dissolves quickly, creating a smooth, milky cup. I love that the sticks are small and the packaging durable so you can actually pop some into your handbag! I bring them on long haul flights and make a cup using the free hot water available, I also bring them to hotels as most rooms have a kettle in them and I can make an instant delicious cup easily.

I initially became addicted to the regular Blendy Cafe Au Lait, but noticed I was putting on quite a bit of weight! So I switched to the "calorie half" option a couple of years ago. At first, having drank the sweeter full calorie option for years, I found it hard to adjust to the taste of the lower calorie product. But now I am used to it I find the regular one overly sweet! However, I think I am fooling myself really - something this good in an instant stick can't be good for you. Perhaps moderation is the key. It is also expensive, at least more expensive than drinking tea regularly. And the product has been subjected to shrinkflation. You used to get 27 sticks in the box, now you only get 24.
