This seasonal Pokemon donut "So Surprising Voltorb White Donut" at Mister Donuts (Misdo) is currently on sale at Misdo branches around Japan. Voltorb in Japanese is "biriritama". The Voltorb donut is one of six Misdo limited edition Pokemon donuts in 2025. However, one of them, the "So Surprising Ditto Donut tree" is only available if you book online. The other five can be bought in store, subject to availability - and often they are not available! Due to their popularity they sell out quickly.

Although, this seasonal Pokemon donut at Mister Donuts (Misdo) is currently on sale at Misdo branches around Japan, they only make a limited number each day, so whether you can secure one or not is completely luck of the draw. It can be very hard to get your hands on the limited edition Christmas season Pokemon donuts, especially in the afternoon and evening. I was very lucky tonight that there was one left late in the evening and that there was no one else in the queue eyeing it up and I was able to buy it! It didn't disappoint and the only reason I gave it four stars is that I am not a big fan of custard, even though Japanese custard is pretty decent.
