Steak Gusto's "homeade rich pudding (purin)" is part of their mini dessert line up. I quite like this line up, because each dessert is only 180 yen, but if you order three you get a discount and if you order five you get a further discount. I also like that the size is "mini", because it's easier to enjoy a dessert when the size isn't too big. For me anyway. But if you prefer a full dessert, you are probably best not ordering from the "mini" selection. Or, as we do, order three or five and get the discount as well as getting to try different flavors and textures as a clean finish to a meal!

As above, on its own most people might not find it very satisfying. For anyone with a big bite, it would be gone in two bites. Even for the average person, there is only about four or five bites in a portion. It is an old fashioned purin, so it's coarser than the newer versions. It also tastes more condensed than the more recent types which are lighter and airier. Because there are only a few bites in a portion, I quite like the older style taste and texture for a change, but if it was a larger portion I imagine it might taste a bit too "one note".
