Cafe Ore is a signature coffee and milk product by Ezaki Glico. Presumably they named it after cafe au lait as ore sounds like au lait! There are three different flavors - this one is the 'original' flavor and my personal favorite of the three. I like the carton of this product, it is quite stylish. Furthermore, it sits nicely in a cup holder in a car! I also like the size. Its 180 milliliters which is just the right amount. So it is a good drink product when on the go - if you are driving. It is also nice to have at home, but at 162 yen per 180 milliliters it is not something I would drink daily!

On the flip side, its not as good a product when you are on the go on foot. Because once you open it, you need to drink it in one go. You use a straw to pierce a hole in the lid (a designated area) of the carton. Which also means that it is more prone to spillages. Moreover, the straw is quite hard to pull off the side of the carton. You will see in the photo in this post that the carton is torn on the right side. That is from me pulling the straw off! However, I like the taste and buy it quite regularly in summer to drink either at home or in the car.
