Grand Finale of the 70th Anniversary Miffy Exhibition, in Fukui

For the 70th Anniversary of Miffy, a Miffy exhibition has been traveling around Japan. Currently it is in Hiroshima, in the Hiroshima Museum of Art. But there will be one, and final, chance to see the 70th anniversary exhibition after, in Fukui Prefectural Museum of Art (Fukui Fine Arts Museum).

The exhibition will have its grand finale in Fukui, between September 19th to November 8th, 2026. On the opening day it starts at 10 am, but after that it will be on from 9 am to 5 pm on the days the museum is open.

Under the theme "More, More, Miffy," the event features over 200 original artworks, sketches, and design materials by Dick Bruna. Moreover, this exhibition displays original drawings from all 32 Miffy picture books, for the first time in Japan.
