The description

A Lawson convenience store own brand bakery product: a long twisted donut with custard and whipped cream with a little bit of (strips of) chocolate topping too.

The good

This review was edited, because I got two similar products mixed up, sorry about that. Review: The cream in this bread product is whipped and the custard is regular, runny (for want of a better word) custard. There is strips of chocolate laced over the top of the donut. All in all, the custard, cream and bit of chocolate go well together. There was just the right amount of each. The donut reminded me of plain donuts at home, which was a nice surprise. The donut pastry wasn't too chewy and not too sweet either.

The not so good

I am just guessing that it is a Lawson convenience store own product, because it wasn't very clear in the convenience store nor on the packaging, who produces this donut. There is an L on the front of the packaging which I initially thought meant "large"! But I think it actually stands for Lawson and that's how I came to deduce that this is probably a Lawson own brand product. As such, it would only be available in Lawson convenience stores and possibly not in all branches. I would buy it again though if I saw it in Lawson again and was looking for something sweet.
