Shrinkflation? Only 336 pages

I like the size of this notebook by Seria 100 yen store, available nationwide at this time of year. The paper is quite thin too so it is also not too thick which also makes it a good size and I can fit it in my handbag. I like that it has squared pages too. I use it for keeping track of statistics, among other things, and squared paper is better than plain or lined paper. The price is fantastic too. You can't go wrong with just 110 yen for a good, compact squared notebook like this one.

However. the truth is I picked it up thinking it was the same as the one they had in previous years, where there are 365 pages in the notebook. So I was quite disappointed to see that there are only 336 pages in this diary. The reason being is I particularly wanted something that had a note page for every day of the year but obviously 336 falls short. A victim of shrinkflation perhaps? It defeats the purpose of this notebook in my opinion. They don't pitch it as a 365 notebook, but I would guess that it was originally developed for that purpose.
