Colorful Kawagoe Walk

My local Gyomu is located near to an historic part of Kawagoe that is somewhat off the beaten path. It is not near the old warehouse district where most tourists go, but rather Honmaru Goten which is the only surviving building of the former Kawagoe Castle.

I don't go to Gyomu very often, because its quite far from my house so I have to drive. But when I do go, I make sure to give myself some time for a walk too. Because I love walking in this area. Hopefully, in this "gallery" post (more images, less words), you can see why I love walking in this area - its so colorful and so much to see.
