The description

This product is a seasonal sandwich by 7 - Eleven with fresh strawberries, custard cream and whipped cream and soft convenience store milk (white) bread.

The good

The filling in this "strawberry" sandwich by 7-Eleven is good, well the cream and strawberries anyway. I couldn't distinguish the custard flavor much. But having it on white bread, just didn't do it for me. However, if I were to say something good about the bread is that it is light and somewhat fluffy or rather airy in texture. In other words, its not very filling. It is also more picture perfect than tasty, in my opinion. I think this is a time limited offering, but it should be available at most 7-Eleven convenience stores around Japan.

The not so good

Frankly, and in very simple language: overall, I did not think the taste was very good. As above, I did like elements of the sandwich. The strawberries were really good as was the cream. But I am in the camp that believes; fruit has no place in a sandwich! I personally don't like this particular combination of contrasts. I have come around to cream on bread, but not this type of bread. The bread looks like it is more additives than dough and the taste seems very artificial too. The price is way too high. Definitely not worth 470 yen - 507.6 yen with tax included. Personally, I would never buy this product again, even if it was the only think left in the store!
