Of all of Mister Donuts (Misdo) donuts, be they the regular selection or the limited edition seasonal donuts, the angel cream donut is my absolute favourite. It's quite simple really - a fluffy traditional type, but rather than a jam filling, it has delicious cream filling. The cream is a light, sweet whipped cream. It really makes it. The angel cream donuts are reasonably priced too at 183 yen per donut when you eat in and 187 yen for take out. All of Misdo food is cheaper to buy for take out than eat in.

The only negative is that, due to their popularity, they are often sold out at my local branches. Especially if it's late afternoon or evening. They do make them several times during the day, but even still they run out quickly. It's not uncommon for people to buy several at a time - myself included! Because two of my children also favor angel cream The other negative is that they don't keep fresh long. You really need to eat then the same day. After just a few hours the fluffiness is gone and the exterior can become harder.
