The Starbucks’ seasonal Peach Frappuccino is a refreshing summer treat. Supposedly it is meant to capture the feeling of biting into a ripe Japanese peach, but I personally don't think it succeeds. The blend of peach purée and chunky peach pulp gives it a natural sweetness and a satisfying texture, while the creamy base keeps everything smooth and indulgent. It’s visually bright and the colors are good for summer. For many it will be easy to drink, and for peach fans its bound to be a real treat.

However, it wasn't for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't actually take more than a few slurps. But not just because I didn't really like the flavor, but because I had an oral allergy syndrome reaction to it. However, I have not based my review on that, because it is not Starbucks fault it didn't agree with me. But my son finished off the drink for me, and he also felt it was lacking. I think the skimmed milk was part of the problem! It's not cheap at 707 yen. Online it says its 720 yen, but I definitely only paid 707 yen. I don't know why. I also don't like that there is no choice of size - in my local branch at least, one size is supposed to fit all.
